Day Fifty Seven - February Twenty Nine

I discovered digital scrapbooking while making some templates for my online store. I was just looking for some free stuff on the internet to use when I stumbled upon Gotta Pixel, an online store for digital scrapbooks.


I started doing this around December 2007 but didn't have time to continue because I went back to school. I think I deleted my old elements and papers to give some space for my school stuff.


Now I'm back!! More free time & a kid to make digital scrapbooking more fun!

Day Fifty Six - February Twenty Eight

I was craving for something sweet and this is what I got! Arny <3 Dading's Peachy-Peachy!!! The Peachy-Peachy looks like this because I forgot I placed the box on the dashboard. While driving, the box slipped! :)


Peachy-Peachy is made from cassava and originally covered with grated coconut. Thanks to Arny <3 Dading's I discovered the cheese covered ones. I can now eat Peachy-Peachy!!! The sweetness of the cassava blends perfectly with the saltiness of the cheese! Literally.. "nanlalambot ako sa sarap!"

Day Fifty Five - Februaty Twenty Seven

Tanduay ICE.. the Philippine version of Vodka Cruiser! This product is made by Asia Brewery.


The blue one taste better than the red one. The original white one taste like "ginpom" and is super sweet! Everytime I drink the white one my back hurts. Hahaha.. don't know if it has any connection but it never fails!! It only has 5% alcohol though.

I am currently using Globe DSL. I wanted to try out this Wi-Tribe since it's cheaper than what I'm paying right now. They are also having a promo that provides you a FREE 4G modem & no lock-in period.


How I wish we have South Korea's internet speed! They are ranked at number 1 globally at an average download speed of 17Mbps.

February 1986
I remember walking at the streets of EDSA with my grandfather. People were shouting, singing, praying and even crying. To me this scene was a complete chaos! What the heck is happening? Where are all this people going to? Why are we all here?


The people wanted Ferdinand Marcos OUT! They want to reclaim their freedom and have a democratic government.


February 2012
After 26 years, the same thing still happens. The crowd now gathers at the People Power Monument. They still sang the same song, "Bayan Ko" & still shouts the names "Ninoy & Cory".


Nothing has changed!! Oh.. except for the exchange rate. It is now Php 42 = $1 instead of Php 2 = $1. We did claim our freedom back and have a democratic government but is it worth it?

Day Fifty Two - February Twenty Four

The dreaded day of the month, PAYING BILLS!!! 


I went to the bank and asked the teller to break my Php 5,000. I needed smaller denominations to pay for my utilities. She gave me a bundle of 50's! Haha.. now my purse is bulky!!


This is what the new Philippine fifty-peso bill looks like. A younger Sergio Osmeña is printed and the landing of Gen. Douglas McArthur was added on the oberse side. The reverse side now has a picture of Taal Lake and a fish that to me looks like a "Sapsap". It is actually a Giant Trevally (Caranx ignobilis) or locally know as "maliputo".

I really love a good dimsum & Hen Lin's pork siomai is one of the best. Though the chili sauce would be much better if it was spicier :)
