You can forget about Selecta's Magnum (the overpriced ice cream) & try this one! Way cheaper but tastes soooo good!

Day Sixty Six - March Nine

I've been seeing pictures of this ice cream all over my facebook wall. Curiosity got me so I went out to buy one!


I bought Php 100.00, thinking it was only around Php 30.00. I went to Shell's Select and they've got the 3 flavors: Origina, Chocolate Truffle & Almond! So I got the Chocolate Truffle and the Almond. I was about to pay for it (plus my kid's lollipop), I asked the cashier how much does one cost. To my surprise, it's Php 65 each!!! Hahaha, that's way to expensive for just an ice cream bar! What the heck, I just want to try one just to satisfy my curiosity.


Verdict: Too creamy and sweet!!! NOT MY KIND OF ICE CREAM.. Never again!


(Thinking: Maybe the Almond tastes better. Hahahaha!)

After "Sinigang na Baboy" for dinner, we had caramel ice cream with bacon bits!! It was soooo delicious! The saltiness of bacon compliments the sweetness of the caramel.
