Day Fifty Two - February Twenty Four

The dreaded day of the month, PAYING BILLS!!! 


I went to the bank and asked the teller to break my Php 5,000. I needed smaller denominations to pay for my utilities. She gave me a bundle of 50's! Haha.. now my purse is bulky!!


This is what the new Philippine fifty-peso bill looks like. A younger Sergio Osmeña is printed and the landing of Gen. Douglas McArthur was added on the oberse side. The reverse side now has a picture of Taal Lake and a fish that to me looks like a "Sapsap". It is actually a Giant Trevally (Caranx ignobilis) or locally know as "maliputo".
